NR & C was formed in the early seventies and operated only in Durban, carrying out maintenance to local private siding owners. Since a management change in 1995 the company has grown substantially from a turnover of R1,2 million to over R30 million p.a in 2001 offering a full range of rail related services throughout Southern Africa.
